Stronger Together

Four12 Global 2020, Bret Bevan, News

We have some exciting news. After much prayer and discussion with Four12 leaders, the eldership team, leaders and saints of Igreja 180 Graus are joining with Estação 337 to become one church. They will now be known as Estação 337 Belo Horizonte.

It has been a difficult season for the church, with issues arising from COVID-19 impacting on Brazil more than most nations. During this time, many leaders have individually been praying for the church and felt that the Lord was going to bring about radical change. At the same time, Ronaldo Lopes Pacheco was feeling stirred to become more involved and provide greater support and help. Ronaldo came to believe, along with a number of the Four12 leaders, that the most effective way to provide the necessary support would be to join the two churches. Looking back, we can see that this is part of an ongoing fulfilment of several prophecies over Ronaldo and Estação 337; prophecies that they would be thrust our apostolically and influence many churches in Brazil and beyond Brazilian borders. We feel that this will not be the last congregation to be added to Estação 337 and partner with Four12.

The uniting of these two churches really felt like something from the Lord and not just a ‘good idea’. As each of the elders of Igreja 180 Graus spoke about what they had sensed in God, it soon became clear that the Lord was confirming His will in the heart of each one. In turn, each of the leaders and saints, have pretty much unanimously agreed that this is what God wants and have become excited about the next season.

On Sunday the 13th September, the official ‘marriage’ announcement was made, and we have already begun to see the favour of God breaking open. The churches are meeting together again and have already seen several people return with a new sense of hope, faith and anticipation.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 ESV

Scripture tells us repeatedly that two are better than one. As these churches come together as one, we will no doubt see each strengthen and grow. We also trust that out of them the gifts will rise up, and that they will be equipped and enabled to work into other churches throughout Brazil, South America and Portuguese speaking nations in Africa.

Here are some practical ways you can partner in prayer in the next season; pray for:
• God’s continued favour for the Estação 337 Belo Horizonte;
• Ronaldo as he oversees three congregations, as he also needs to fly regularly to Belo Horizonte;
• financial breakthrough;
• your potential involvement – ask God if you should join us on an outreach once travel restrictions have lifted.
