‘Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’ Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)
Born with Spina Bifida and defying death as a baby, Emma Selley has faced several health issues over the course of her life. Recently, she and Andrew shared the exciting news about the opportunity for a kidney transplant that would change their lives and free them up to serve and run in a greater capacity in the Kingdom of God together. But, unfortunately, in the lead-up to the much-anticipated operation, they have been presented with new health issues that stand in the way of the operation progressing.
In this clip, Andrew and Emma share on how they are processing the news and what the next steps look like. Emma shares that, while she is not looking forward to the operations and recovery, she is asking the Lord for His mercies, and has been feeling His nearness and experiencing His inexplicable and glorious joy. They know Jesus is carrying them and remind us that we don’t live for this life but instead have an eternal and supernatural hope.
We continue to stand with them in prayer and trust for God’s intervention and a quick healing so that Emma can move forward with the kidney transplant sooner than anticipated.
